In this course, we introduce women and girls to the fundamental attitude, skills, and plan of self-protection. This is a 2-hour classroom-based that helps women of all ages build the attitude, skills, and plan to successfully protect themselves from being victimized by an attacker.
In this course, we will focus on:
•The attitude of self-protection
•Likely threats that women face
•How to effectively pay attention to your surroundings and identify threats as early as possible
•Strategies to de-escalate, escape, and evade a physical conflict
•Man-made tools that can help you more effectively fight off an attacker.
This course will have some discussion and a bit of hands-on learning and training that is not physically intense.

Class runs 7-9:00 PM on 1/31/20.
Please bring with you:
1.A great attitude! If you’re ready to learn I promise you will learn. But if you aren’t ready to learn, nothing we cover will be of any assistance.
2. Wear whatever you’re comfortable in. There isn’t any demanding physical activity, but you might want to be able to walk around a bit as we have a couple of practical exercises and you will be moving about.
3. A pen and paper to take notes.
