Description
More often than not, our awareness and ability to de-escalate a potentially volatile situation can be the greatest defensive resource we have. Whether you are armed, in a non-permissive environment, or choose to carry defensive tools, this online seminar is an opportunity to assess your current potential to de-escalate problematic people and situations.
The ASP staff have found these resources to be helpful not only as active self protectors of our loved ones, but also as parents, siblings, spouses, and community members. Being wise as serpents and innocent as doves means that while we may possess skills at physically defending ourselves and others, we must also be quick to listen so that we be an active force for good with our body language, our words, our awareness, and our decision making.
It’s so important, and there’s so much that you need to know and understand that we’ve made this a two part teaching series.
Join us on Thursday, August 19th from 7:00pm-9:00pm Central for the second of a two-part series on this important topic that can be very helpful for more aspects of your life than you might realize!
